Interesting. We're meeting going opposite directions. I used to be in aviation (both professionally and hobby-wise), and now I've turned to boating! I can't afford flying anymore; boating and boatbuilding are much more economically attractive. After looking at MANY airplanes tied down at airports that never leave their spaces literally for years at a time, it would seem that airplanes (including helicopters) are "holes to throw money into" just as big as boats! Of course, you can't put a price tag on fun. After all, I've yet to see a hobby whose primary purpose is to make money--golf, hunting, stamp collecting, bird watching, aviation, boating--the purpose of these is to give us something beyond the monthly have-to-pay bills to work for.

Not only that, but you can still boat if you have diabetes, heart disease, etc.

End of sermon.

Kurt
