: I would like to know which is a better product to us on exterior cedar siding, spars or sikkins?

My experience from spar varnish is not to use it; unless you want to sand, chip, peel, etc., the stuff periodically to refurbish it even when it is peeling off it is still gummy and clogs sandpaper. If you have access to spray equipment by all means invest in a good 2 part polyurethane clear and a resperator. While there is some solvent flash, it cures with a catalyst just like epoxy, is highly UV resistant, and will last almost forever, it can also be tinted if desired. Sikkens? this is a manufacturer, they make 2 part polyurethane. You can find these products at an automotive paint store.
