I half expect it to be at least a partial failure. If I learn something in the process it will be of some value anyway. Besides - I might have God's blessing.
I've got Kevlar for the outside of the hull and I'm thinking about s-glass for the inside. I don't see how kevlar is really supposed to make a boat lighter. I've got 5 oz kevlar. I'm not sure how that is supposed to be much lighter than 6 oz glass. I guess 4 oz (assuming 4 yd for the outside of the hull) is 4 oz, but I'm not sure I'll be able to tell when I'm trying to lift it over my head.
