Second, I thought E-glass and S-glass referred to the type of glass used for the fibers, not the weave. Any ideas on that?

Third, You talk about how much the epoxy penetrates wood - my understanding is that epoxy typically penetrates only about 1/100th of an inch. That's why many contend that epoxy encapsulation is not very effective in preventing rot. CPES or a similar concoction actually penetrates deeply, truely preserves the wood, and also gives conventional epoxy something to adhere to.

I bought some Raka and it seems to work just fine, but I don't have much experience, and none with other brands. I do know that when you call Raka tech support, they have a lot of knowledge to share. I expect West does also - their publications are good reading if you don't mind the slant.
