: I am trying to find an inboard engine to fit the limited space in the Tiny Might. A modern design would probably be more practical.

: Does anyone have experience with converted automobile in line 6 or 4 cylinder engines or with small V-6 engines? Has anyone fit any one of these into a Tiny Might with a marine transmission? Are marine conversion parts available for any of these engines? Any other suggestions?

I just got done with a 3.0L chevy. It came out of a sterndrive fiberglass hull and I converted it to straight inboard. I saw where the tiny might has a 300lb engine limit. This 3.0L longblock is near the 300lb limit so I doubt you could get a marine tranny within the weight limit, but if you go and couple the propshaft to the flywheel, then you might get under 300lbs.
There is a marine Ford 2.3L from OMC in the '87, '88 time frame, but I could not find a bellhousing to go to the BorgWarner tranny.
