In sharp turns I have the same Problem at my Rebel.
I found many infos, that the cavitation plate of the motor has to be in the sane hight as the bottom - but a specialist for motors told me that it has to be deeper, approx. 3cm.
The holes in the transom are drilled, so I won´t change this and take care of radical turnes.
