Chuck, If you've been reading the design descriptions on this site, you will see that many of them note increases or decreases of perhaps 10%
in length being permissable. When you go beyond that, you are in effect designing a new boat and there are a whole world of variables that must be taken into consideration: Center of bouyancy, lateral resistance, and more. I'd advise leaving the design process to the pros.
