I would look at multi hull designs. Just read the decription on the power cats. Or a big pontoon rig. I am not an engineer but from a practical standpoint that is what I would look at. The grade is for the design, actually getting to build your design is the bonus.
: I'm a college physics student in Colorado, my teacher gave us an assigment to build a trebuchet. The person with the most unique design that works gets the money to build a full scale model. I wanna put mine on a boat so I need to know what the most stable boat design there is. My teacher said it couldn't be done but I think I could do it with some information on boats. If anyone has some good tips they'd be greatly appreciated.
