Hi Boaters,

In the process of Fiberglass of “Vigilant” a trawler.
First timer, never having any experienced on Fiberglass before.

My questions : during shaping and cutting the Fiberglass Cloth which taken nearly hour, the Cloth turn to become harder before wetting with Epoxy. Is it a normal chemical reaction happened Fiberglass Cloth exposed to the Air ?

By the time waiting a feed back and answer, am proceed the Fiberglass process. Day one result : after 24 hours drying time, I saw the Fiberglass Cloth stick perfectly on the marine plywood but having tiny square line look like “water mark”. Day Two result : Still the same appearance, I am thinking follow all instructions and standard procedure for Fiberglass with Epoxy Resin, but the result is far from expection.

Hope someone here willing to help and forward your opinion.
Thank you very much in advance for your anticipation, thanks

Sincerely,

Haji
