Thanks for the info. Right now I am considering several projects. I currently have a 16'6" Chrysler (1971) with a 135 HP Mercury O/B motor. The hull is in ok shape, but I would like something a little better. I'm considering building an "Outrage" (stretched a tad - about 1' well within the 10% margin) and re-using my motor and trailer (cheapest option), or building something bigger such as the renegade or Kingpin and installing a 350 Chev That I rebuilt and is sitting in my pretty much abondoned Camaro with a jet drive (Berkley).
I have a family of 6 (although the wife is convinced that I have lost my marbles on this one - LOL), so the larger boat would make a lot more sense!
