From the plans and instructions, the Aqua Cat looks pretty standard in construction, similar to other Glen-L plywood designs. In my opinion, if you have any woodworking experience at all, you can build this or any other Glen-L boat. The plans are clear, the designs tested, the people at "the company" great about answering questions. The instructions are step-by-step, and a "manual" comes with the plans that has photos illustrating each step in the building process (although the boat in the manual is not a cat). I had ZERO woodworking experience when I tackled my first boat--a Console Skiff (see link below). Building a boat is a big project, and it might seem overwhelming when you first get the plans. Don't let it be! Just do one thing at a time, and you will do just fine.

The cabin is 6'L by 6 1/2'W x 42"H.

Go for it!

Kurt
