Thanks Jim, I just might try that idea. Maybe if I use a Forsner (spelling) bit rather than a hole saw I can cut a fairly flush hole... I could always take the feed bit out out one of my greenlees and probably get close to the same result as well. I am actually putting it in the bow...about a foot back from the front of the boat... lil flat bottom electric...should be in contact with water all the time. thanks Steve I want to keep as much of the wiring forward as possible... only built two wire chases to the back bench seat and they might fill up fast.
