Art, the short answer is NO. However, I am using the exact same process. West roller, tipping off with a dry purdy brush and the finish is remarkable. Yes, there is some "lint" in the finish that is probably from the environment I am currently building in. I raise all sorts of dust in my basement. Before the finish coat I will sanitize and wet down etc to try to eliminate dust. One time I actually wiped my brush with a rag and I think i got a lot of lint from that... but for the most part the finish is extremely smooth. I will, however be sanding with like 1500 grit and then buffing with 3M buffing compound to get an ultra smooth finish. It sure sounds like airbourne particulate but I dont know. I am really impressed with that interlux paint.
