I have been shopping around locally for marine grade plywood, every where I go, I am told they don't carry marine grade plywood. I finally went to the Boise Cascade lumber wholesaler and asked them if they carry marine grade plywood. It turns out that they do carry it. They can't sell to the public but stock the local lumberyards with the marine grade "A-B" plywood. They said the sales people I have talked to are inexperienced and to tell them they can get the marine plywood from the wholesaler. So if this is the case what are the characteristics of marine grade plywood so I know what I am getting and what is a good price for a 3/4" 4x8 sheet of marine grade "A-A" plywood? This will sure be nice to buy locally if I Know what I am getting? Can some one please give a description of what to look for in marine grade plywood.
