Has anyone concidered a 2x MiniMax? IE 8'x16'? I have a Subaru flat 4 that I'd like to put into a boat & being the impatiant type I'm thinking of doubling every dimension on the MiniMax. Of course, I'd have to put the flat four in the rear with a shaft drive instead of an outboard configuration, but as it's a FLAT four, I could build a box over it that could either be a backrest or a seat (I haven't drawn it out yet to see the scale...) Would this still be a stable design or am I better off to try a different design all together?
