Hello,

I must smile, because three months ago I wrote exactly the same question "My Rebel is jumping". Now I'm happy to help you as others helped me.

Porposing:
At lower speed it is ok but at higher speed the bow starts to bounce.
I made two wedges, ca. 15 inch long, 3 inch wide and 1/3 inch high.
I applied them at the end of the bottom at each side of the motor.
Porposing is completely eliminated, only if I trim the engine extromly up it starts again.

The high of the engine mounting is described in the handbook.
Normally the anti-cavitation plate above the prop should be 1/2 inch under the bottom.

The slide problem I have as well.
At high speed it is some kind of funny, but I blamed myself everytime I wanted to enter a harbor box and so I mounted a keel to the last three feet of the bottom. It's not very high, just 2 inch. At full speed it helps not, but the low speed handling is much better now. Only disadvantage:
It puts air to the prop in fast turnes. I will remove this keel and apply two battens to the bottom, following the edge Bottom/ side.

If you find a different way, let me know.

Best regards
Dominik
