I think Glen L Marine should build on their very popular CABIN SKIFF boat, and design a new 21 foot COASTAL SKIFF boat plan!
COASTAL SKIFF (21') as proposed:
21' LOA
8' Beam
50hp Honda 4-stroke powered
take-off of much smaller CABIN SKIFF
high skiff bow
higher freeboard
must be Trailerable
proportionly larger Pilot House (see R. Mackey Cabin Skiff mods)
must be STITCH & GLUE
Pilot House with: potti, sink, stove,
berths for 2 adults min., windshield wiper(s)
inside helm, helm and co-helm seating
Goal: Provide the mature sailors, the cruising couples - a decent 21 foot trailerable coastal cruiser skiff power boat, along the lines of the much smaller CABIN SKIFF. COASTAL SKIFF to carry on the Glen L. "Skiff" tradition!
Come on guys, if C-Dory 21 can do it, and R. Mackey can stretch the CABIN SKIFF to 18, can a 21 foot COASTAL SKIFF be far behind.
