I think your prayers have been answered, if you don't mind 24'. Boatbuilder Magazine (http://www.boatbuildermagazine.com) ran two articles on a stitch-n-glue design which I fell in love with. It took a couple of years, but the guy has finally completed his plans and is selling them through an ad in the magazine. Buy a recent copy of the magazine for the ad. Try to get back issues for the articles - you need Nov/Dec 2000 ("Designing Liz") and Mar/Apr 2001 ("Building Liz"). I'd recommend subscribing, also, it's a nice magazine with a wealth of info for boatbuilders.

I'm wavering on whether to build Liz or a Simmons Sea-Skiff. The latter is lapstrake with plywood planks, might actually be easier to build (read the "Liz" articles to get an idea), and is a much more seaworthy boat. Check Dave Carnell's website (http://home.att.net/~DaveCarnell) for an article on Simmons Sea-Skiffs and how to get plans.
