Jonesy -

I haven't heard of them used much in boat building. But those new BISCUIT CUTTERs, are great for joining & gluing together all sorts of jobs. (table tops, etc.) They haven't had much press, in the boat building arena. LOTs of "Clamps" are a must. Great wood RASPs are much needed. And a super duper WOODSCREW Countersink DRILL SET is critical, for all the screw setting required. Cordless 12 or 14v DeWalt Drill a must-have!!! (and 1 or more, extra batteries)

: I'm preparing to build a Glen-L plywood boat from full-size patterns. I'd like to hear from other builders about the plywood and framing tools they'd most recommend. I have a reasonable budget for tools so please feel free to recommend any powered items that would truly be worth purchasing.
