The Cruisette can be extended up to 10%. This is done by re-spacing the frames from the aft end of the stem to the transom. The stem and frame attached to it do not move. Alteration of the cabin can be done whether you extend the hull or not. You might want to wait until the hull is upright until you finalize cabin interior as it is much easier to visualize and test your changes at this point.
I suspect that the berth height would have to be changed if a porta potti were to be put under.

: Re my previous queries about stretching a hull; any gain, such as room to stow a port-a-potti? Would any distortion arise from leaving the near-bow frame in place so's not to change the breasthook, and moving only the frames aft of that last frame? If there is no real gain, I'm going with the design as is (with only non-structural personal appointments, that's why we build our own).
