Got a question or two about fuel tank(s) and where I can put them. I'd like to carry 12-18 gals. Because of the limited deck space, I want to be able to hide the tanks.
I could put a 12-18 gal. v-bottom permanent tank under the upper level of the deck. I'd have to add access panels to the deck, and because of the supports for the deck, I wouldn't be able to remove the tank without cutting it up. And I don't knmow where I'd put the fill cap.
I could put a tank in the botton of the center console which is mid-point of the boat. I'd have to make the cosole larger than I'd like to accomodate the tank.
I have a space approximately 16"w by 12"d by 18"h in each of the transom wells. I haven't found tanks to fit. If I put a tank in each well I'd have to be able to figure out how to balance the tanks.
Any suggestions?
