I have to wonder why you would bother. All of the advantages that I've heard espoused for ferrocement construction are lost if it is only used for sheathing. Besides that, I have my doubts about how well it would stick to a wood or steel boat. I would think fiberglass sheathing would be easier, cheaper, and better in the long run.
