OK I ordered the squirt plans and frame kit. WIll build in marine grade ply etc....but I want the "old fashioned wooden boat look"....where do I buy Mahogony veneer..or is that even what I want? Do I completely build the boat and then cover it with a veneer and then epoxy over that and varnish over that?..I am getting pretty good at painting so maybe that will be the alternative.
