A 9.9 or a 15 would probably suit your needs. But you could find a 25 hp if you dig deep enough. Look around, check out local boat shops...or ebay for that matter. There are good used motors out there very cheap. I bought a nice 1958 Evinrude 35 hp for $325! And classic engines look great on these boats...
