: : I have been using West Epoxy, with the fast hardener. I have been working in my basment, temperature about 60 plus, applying the epoxy to various boat parts. I plan to do the final assembly in summer. I have been very careful to mix the resin and hardener in 1 to 1 portions. After two weeks the surface still feels soft and slightly sticky. Does anyone have any suggestions?

: : One thing I am trying is to put the parts in an enclosed area with an electric heater to raise the temperature to about 85- 90 degrees.

:sticky/tacky could be just the epoxy "blush", a biproduct of the hardening process. Wash the parts with dish soap and warm water and dry with a cloth. If it is just blush it will wash off. If it is still tacky after washing I would guess your pumps are not mixing the proper amounts.
