I am also getting ready to start construction on Amigo, but it going to be REAL slow - so far I've converted the drawings to metric and I am now toying around with some minor changes - I've entered the dimensions into Autocad which is like having a model to play with.
So far I've made some sawhorses - the shed gets built as soon as the snow leaves - Fort St. John is not necessarily the friendliest place to build a boat.
