I've just started this project. I wanted a sharpie with a bit more freeboard and single mast. I live next to the Indian River in Florida and desired a shoal draft boat (it's shallow around here). With accomidations for two, I hope to take my wife camping along the river and down to the Keys. This design meets my requirements.
