I'm new to the boat building world. Not sure what you mean by a "double diag planked hull".
I'm pretty much following the instructions, with 3/8 in. bottom and 1/4 in. side plywood hull. Do you not feel that this is strong enough?
It's to late for me to do anything different. I do plan on covering with fiberglass. Would adding two layers of cloth be of any benefit?
