I built GlenL's ROUSTABOUT 18' I/O runabout boat,
back in 1975! It's served us faithfully as a water
skiing boat for our 5 kids. Its powered by a Volvo
I/O and a Ford 289 V-8 Mustang engine w/fresh
water Heat Exchanger. I am interested in converting
this ROUSTABOUT into a cabin/mini-trawler/poor
weather boat. HAS ANYONE DONE THIS TYPE OF CONVERSION
on a GlenL ROUSTABOUT or anything similiar.
Our boat is still in good shape, and engine continues
to run better than either of our 90's autos! PS -
ROUSTABOUT as set up, will easily get up into lower
50's on flat water! Will also pull 3 skiiers with
ease. Located now in eastern NC, ready for
our retirement!
