: i've spent a lot of time plundering glen-l's site but somehow had missed the jolly roger and now am smitten. could someone who's built her tell me how much time and money you spent and your impressions of the boat. glen-l nailed the proportions on this boat. she's beautiful!

I built the Jolly Roger about 5 yrs ago and it's
as good today as it was the day it was finished.
Building time for me was approx. 18 months. Cost?
the biggest expence will be your motor, I went
with an inboard outboard volvo with a 290 outdrive.
Brand new it cost me approx. $5,000.00. Add on
your lumber and epoxy, fasteners, and excessories
and you should be able to build it for under $10,000.
It's a very seaworthy boat, I been caught in some
bad storms and she has always got us home. Good
luck....
