I bought the plans for a Console Skiff way back in '92. I had intended to build it right away, but got into building a large addition on my house, and turning an old barn into a Studio, the boat had to wait.
I dug out the plans the other day thinking it had been about four years...time really does fly! I went yesterday to buy the appropriate epoxy resins. They are tough to find around here, but fortunatly a town about thirty miles away, Valleyfield, is famous for their annual hydroplane regatta, and are a real "Boaty" town. They had all I needed.
I am now starting to transfer the patterns to the plywood. How far are you...all done I guess? I have no idea how long it will take me to build her, but I'm not in a hurry. I've made all the usual furniture items, renovations, buildings etc., but I've always wanted to build a boat, so here goes!
