We are building a 22' Amigo and are using Meranti
Plywood instead of Mahogany. I am very impressed
with it. It is a beautiful wood and looks very
much like mohagany. In fact we used mahogany to
plug our screw holes in the transom and frames and
you can hardly see them. Epoxy bonds to it no
different than any other wood as far as I can tell.
