12-4-98= We traced, drilled, sawed the bottom.
12-7-98= We traced the bulkheads, paddle, and laced bulkheads to the bottom.
12-8-98= Traced and cut out 1 side & we traced and cut butt block & traced the other side.
We were very excited when we walked in the door of our classroom. The wood was laying on the ground ready to be cut. First we layed down the plans. Then we used the push drill and pattern wheel when the plans were still on. Then we took off the plans and cut the pattern and holes with a jig saw. Then we wired the bulkheads into the bottom of the kayak. Next we will make another side.
