Fig. 35 - The motorwell sides anchor to the batten and to a longitudinal member from the transom to the deck beam at Frame #1. Here Don is fitting the cleats on the motorwell side that will support the motorwell bottom.
Fig. 36 - The basic framework for the decking is complete. The longitudinal carlings along the sides of the cockpit have been installed and the dash beam blocked to the carling. The stronback and two battens have been installed on the foredeck and the entire area has been faired in preparation for the decking.
Fig. 37 - It is a great deal easier to install the steering mechanism and various controls before the decking is installed.
