Fig 7: The bottom planking is roughly cut to shape, the contact areas coated with glue, and the planking screwed in place, staggering the screws along the longitudinal members.


Fig 8: The skeg or outer keel is fastened in place on the centerline of the boat.


Fig 9: The center and transom seats are supported by uprights from both sides of the keel and also by braces extending up from the chine to the underneath side of the seat.
