Squirt with Jet Powerby Nate BrownPage 3...Here is a detail of the fuel tank frame after the flow coat. Note that I added a full-length half frame between the stock frame #2 location and the transom. This worked well for the tank holder and the whip strut. It was needed to strengthen the bottom for the added 12" would have been too long a span for the speed and weight of the boat. Here it is ready for a deck. Sure looks bigger than the 11' it is. I really like how the raised deck and comings came out. Here is another shot of the boat ready for the under deck hardware. This is the bell crank that I thought I needed to get the full 4" stroke out of the 3" added Morris cable. As it turns out it turns so quick that I ended up slowing this down so it is now 1 to 1. This is a stock Sea Doo steering column from a XP with some of the BS cut off. It worked great and looks good on the visible side of the dash. I had to drill holes in the existing flange to hold a regular steering wheel. Continue |
