Fig 13: As shown, the stem on the left side has been faired from sheer to chine. The curve of the stem will be extended by fairing the corner off the breasthook.
Fig 14: Heavy kraft paper may be used to make a template for the plywood side planking. The template should only be used as a guide to determine how the planking will be obtained from a 4' wide panel.
Fig 15: The roughly cut side planking is reapplied to the hull and the contour more closely marked to the framework members. Final fairing will be done after final installation.
