BEXLEY, OHIO: Charles and Florence Turner announce the completion and launching of their houseboat, DELPHINE. The watercraft, which has been under construction in the Turner's garage and backyard for four years or so, was launched in the Muskingum River at Zanesville.

Skipper Turner reports that the boat performs quite well and that the summer and fall will be spent on "shake down" cruises up and down the Muskingum with careful ventures into the Ohio River. Both the Captain and First Mate want to gain boating experience in quiet waters. Fall foliage cruises on the Muskingum are being planned for friends.

Plans for next year will bring more extensive cruises south on the Ohio and Tennessee rivers, and then down to the Gulf of Mexico.
