thanks for the response. Hoping to have it on the water in about 2-3 years. The plan is to first get the plans then start to acquire the necessary fittings, steering components, etc. Then when toe point in construction is reached when a particular fitting or part goes in, just reach for the shelf and put it in. It may take a bit longer this way, but the length of time is on the front end, not when you have the boat finished and are chomping at the bit to get it on the water.
Anyway, it's a ways off, but it's not too early to start the process.
