We are working on a design for a small stitch and glue boat.
I have been looking for literature or instruction methods for creating a "panel projection" or "flat pattern" of the parts.
I have reviewed my books on descriptive geometry and it covers methods for developing flat patterns for sheet metal work, but none of the construction methods can be applied to the curved bottom of a hull.
I am certain that the technique is similar, but cant find any literature or how to instruction.
Any ideas where we can find instruction or recommended reading?
