Round bottoms are not normally done with stitch and glue techniques. If you want a round bottom you would probably go with strip planking or cold-molding.
Multi-chines is what you normally end up with when trying to approximate a round bottom in a stitch and glue design.
If you plan on making your boat out of aluminum sheeting, you may be able to adapt the flat patterns for sheet metal. If you plan on using wood, you are stuck with the inherant characteristics of wood.
