My question is can you steam kiln dry wood so that you can bend it without it breaking later? I want to use Phillipine or African Mahogany for my frames, battens, etc.... Can't find any non dried mahogany locally and really dont want to use Doug Fir. I just don't want to bend this wood and then have it break on me later. Anyone have the answer?
