Humor me guys: I have some white oak I want to make a flag staff/cross with. One vertical with a cross bar and I will mount it on the cabin of my tug with three flags flying from it. I do not own a lathe. How can I lamimate four 3/4 inch strips of wood together and then get them to be round....I was thinking of a router with a radius cut that would be close and then sand the balance. Or I could make the whole thing 1 x 2-1/2 or so and round of the corners so it would be clesar I had no intention of making it round. (Reason I am using the white oak is that it will match the roof beams and the steering console) Finished dimensions would be like three and 1/2ft tall with 2-3/4ft cross bar. Thanks Steve
