My son and I just completed a Tuffy and have the following problems:
1) Propoising - we're using a 50HP Johnson, and I don't think it trims down far enough. Also, the engine height may be too high. Can height affect porposing? What is the correct engine height?
2) The boat "slides" when turned. I'm thinking about adding an external keel over the winter. Is this the best method to control the slide, or should I consider something different?
