: I have used epoxy and glass to cover outside areas of my Two-Plus hull. Should I use epoxy inside as well? I am a little afraid that e.g. a minor damage to the bottom would cause moisture to get trapped in the bottom plywood. Causing a potential rot problem. Any longtime experience on this issue?
Builders of old, used to use "Cuprinol", a copper-based liquid, to rot-proof, prior to covering it with paint. My father, used Cuprinol, to cover anything outside. He swore by it. I wonder, maybe the environmentalists have banned it by now.
