Epoxy inside and outside?

I have used epoxy and glass to cover outside areas of my Two-Plus hull. Should I use epoxy inside as well? I am a little afraid that e.g. a minor damage to the bottom would cause moisture to get trapped in the bottom plywood. Causing a potential rot problem. Any longtime experience on this issue?
