Mixing different brands of epoxy/hardener

My local West Marine store has 2 gallons of SeaFit epoxy resin that I can get for $23/gallon(!) But they no longer have any hardener of the same brand. It's supposed to be mixed at 4:1 ratio. My question is: Can I use Glen-L or West System hardener? Would I use their 5:1 ratio?

Or should I forget it...?
