polyester resin

I have a canoe that is fiberglassed with polyester resin. I wish to remove that resin and glass and re-glass with an epoxy resin. Would "Jasco paint and epoxy remover" do the job? Is there a better product to use? Anyone have any experience removing polyester resin this way? Any tips would be appreciated.
