Actually, the guy at Lowe's looked at me like I was nuts when I told him what I was going to do with the paint he was mixing. (BTW--another advantage to latex: Unlimited color choices!) Have you read Dave Carnell's article? I found his arguments for using latex compelling, and a much more informative than my "rookie" opinions.
