What is a qualified way to test the integrity of your glue joints, and your shop process? I have glued scraps of my frames stock together (parallel grains) and then seperated them with a wedge driven in, the glue line separated. However, if I applied a turning torque to the pieces then the woodgrain let go excitingly. So, I wonder if a tension load is a appropriate test?
